Melinda Warren was the very first witch in the Halliwell family, She was burned at the stack because her boyfriend Matthew told the towns people she was a witch. Right before she burned to death she cast a spell that said every witch that deciends from her will grow more power untill finally there will be three sisters who will be called The Charmed Ones and the be the most powerful good witches ever.
